We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Braniff's music class benefited from a $2,200 Arts NOW Grant from the Nebraska Department of Education. This grant was used to implement a Ukulele program in our 4th grade. Mrs. Braniff hopes to expand that to 3rd grade in the future. We were able to purchase 24 soprano ukuleles, Storage stands, cases, method books, tuners, and extra strings.

Busy week in FCS this week! Students in all grades baked over 350 cookies for a cookie exchange. The 7th graders delivered hand-stitched mini monsters to Miss Guhde's kindergarten class.
Our Kindergarten students enjoyed a hot cocoa shop! Students counted out the correct change to "pay" for their cup of hot cocoa.
