Tekamah-Herman Schools - Home of the Tigers

In an effort to emphasize the importance of multi-sport/multi-activity participation, the NSAA and the Nebraska State Colleges launched the Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award program. The award recognizes students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least 3 NSAA sanctioned activities during the academic year. Congratulations to the 58 Tigers who made the list!

Long weekend for our Tigers, but we are back with 23 school days until Graduation. Landon Miller is our next senior highlight. Sports and Clubs kept Landon busy in high school and prepared him for the next stop on his journey at Wayne State College. Congratulations Landon. Good luck as a Wildcat.

9th graders attended the Connecting the Dots Career Simulation in Oakland today hosted by 4H extension, UNL, and Nebraska Indian Community College! Thanks to everyone that spoke today and helped our students plan for their future careers.

A leader in our FFA program, on the girls wrestling mat, and in the classroom, Daisy Cameron is celebrating 25 school days left until graduation. Good luck as a Jack Rabbit next year Daisy. Go on and do great things!!

Congratulations to our winter activity NCPA Academic All-State Award recipients!

Congratulations to sophomore Cameron Brummond for breaking the school record in the 400m dash yesterday with a time of 1:00.86.

Cameron surpassed the previous record of 1:01.25 set by Emma Wakehouse in 2021.

Our seniors are counting down with 26 school days until graduation and our next honored senior is Shyann Nicola. Shyann has worked hard in FFA, Wrestling, Musical and One Act participating in all 4 musicals while in high school. Good luck next year as a Maverick!!! Congratulations Shyann.

Drivers Education will be offered this summer for anyone who was 14 years of age by October 15, 2025. Registration opens TOMORROW, April 1st and will close April 10th for anyone who currently has a permit or driver's license. Sign up in the high school office.

🚘 Driving Portion: Scheduled times after May 17th
💰 Cost: $150 (must be paid by May 1st to hold your spot)
