
Tekamah-Herman Schools is accepting applications for the position of full-time food service associate. The position is open immediately and requires availability to work from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm everyday that school is in session. Experience in food preparation is preferred, but not required. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.

Kaylyn Kelley from the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District spoke to 3rd graders about animal adaptations. The students learned about some unique adaptations that allow animals to survive, and they had some close interactions with a snake, a frog and a turtle!

Third grade completed a science unit on force and motion. They created toys that showed friction, push/pull, air resistance, magnetism, or gravity and shared their toys with the preschool.

Tekamah-Herman Schools is seeking applicants for the position of District Technology Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. The technology coordinator is responsible for all aspects of computer operations, network, hardware, software, servers, working collaboratively with students and staff, problems solving, cyber security, and classroom support. Experience preferred, but not required.
The base salary and contract are negotiable based on experience. Start date may be flexible. The district covers the full cost of family health and single dental insurance.
