Makenna Miller (8th grade) was chosen as the local winner of the Patriot's Pen essay contest. She went on to win the district contest. Furthermore, her essay was chosen as TOP 3 finalist in the state of Nebraska. She will find out the results next Friday, January 31, at a dinner in Lincoln. Our Kindergarten students celebrated 100 days of school yesterday! They searched the classroom to find 100 Hershey's kisses, did a 100 piece puzzle, stacked 100 cups, dressed like they were 100 years old and found out how many times they could write their names in 100 seconds!
