On this second day of May madness, T. Herman Tiger visited Mrs. Loftis’ 5th grade class for Husker Day! Talmadge Hansen was the lucky winner of a Husker swag bag.
There will only be one afternoon shuttle running to Herman on Thursday, April 22. All students will arrive on the "late" shuttle that day.
A huge THANK YOU to the T-H PTO for the amazing donation of a backdrop and table covering. These will be used for scholarship/college signing as well as many more opportunities. Representing the PTO is (L-R) Holly Brainard, Blair Magill and Jeanine Gammel.
If you have a child(ren) in grades PK-8, please make sure to look for the information regarding the ELVPHD sponsored dental screening set for March 10th here at school. Your child(ren) should receive the information today or early next week.

Burt County Spelling Bee is happening right now in Lyons! Here's a little peek at the 5th and 6th graders that are participating.
The Nebraska Dept. of Education has granted schools additional teacher inservice days for the 20-21 school year. Time will be used for preparation and online trainings. Therefore, there will be NO SCHOOL March 31st AND April 1st. There will also be no school on April 2 & 5.
Lunch for tomorrow will be burritos, spanish rice and broccoli.

NSAA Winter Guidelines Update: The NSAA has decided to stay with the Governor’s “Orange Phase” (25% of rated capacity) of the Directed Health Measure regarding fan attendance and 6-foot separation between households. Schools may now allow grandparents to attend contests. Spectators, coaches, and non-active participants are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending events. This decision is based on an abundance of caution as we move through the holiday season. By doing these things now, the NSAA is hopeful they can host winter championships in February and March. This is in effect until January 4, 2021.
