Earlier today, Mrs. Holly Loftis was awarded the Great Plains Communications “Outstanding Teacher of the Year” award. This award is given annually to a teacher who excels in their classroom, is committed to community service, and has several accomplishments and contributions to education.
Holly has 19 years of teaching experience, with 17 of them being at Tekamah-Herman Schools. She is involved in community activities, is an active member of professional education associations, and has won numerous awards in her area of teaching.
To quote from her recommendation letters, “Mrs. Loftis fosters positive relationships with her students and our families, and she takes an active role in our community, helping every sport season, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism towards her job.”
